Novel Explorers In-Person
Young adult readers are invited to join three virtual book chats with librarian Kayleigh O'Shea on Zoom over “The Golden Compass” by Phillip Pullman. The HBO movie that was made from the book, “His Dark Materials” will also be discussed. Due to the content, high school level readers and above are encouraged to participate. The DVD is certified as TV-14.
"Part One: Oxford," Chapters 1-9 will be covered on March 24th, "Part Two: Bolvanger" Chapters 10-17 will be discussed on April 7th, and "Part Three: Svalbard," Chapters 18-23 will be discussed on April 21st. Get the book and DVD at the Gibsonburg Library. Registration is required to receive the link to join on Zoom.
