Webb Cook Hayes: Founder of the First Presidential Library In-Person
Join us for a talk on Webb Cook Hayes, who founded the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums. Meghan Wonderly-Kolbe will talk about her book, A Son's Dream: Colonel Webb Cook Hayes and the Founding of the Nation's First Presidential Library. In this book, Meghan outlines the story of struggle and perseverance behind the founding of the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums and shares the life of Colonel Webb Hayes. An entrepreneur and dedicated military professional, Webb led a life full of travel, adventure, and action. In addition to participating in five different wars, he was a champion for public history.
