Back to the Wild (SRC 2026 Presentation) In-Person

Back To The Wild offers engaging, hands-on programs. Program includes birds of prey presentation and the opportunity to meet many of our wildlife ambassadors. They will talk about a variety of natural sciences concepts including natural selection, food webs, habitats, adaptations, and so much more!

This educational program may feature a bald eagle, barred and barn owl, great horned owl, red-tailed hawk, eastern screech owl, an eastern rat snake, a box turtle, African leopard tortoise, and more! However, their wildlife ambassadors are WILD and CANNOT be pet or touched. They are not like dogs and cats. Being handled by people can be very scary.

Program will be held in our Downstairs Meeting Room from 3-4pm. Registration is required.

Our Summer Reading Challenge, Unearth a Story, will run June 1-July 31, 2026 at all four of our branches. There is an age group for everyone and you can sign up in person, online at Birchard.beanstack.org, or download the FREE Beanstack app.
