Spirit of Ohio: Jim Kleefeld (SRC 2026) In-Person
Each and every year since 1971, Jim Kleefeld has created a new and different program especially for libraries. Summer Reading Programs all over Ohio and the Midwest have relished having Jim back year after year for his trademark fun, comedy and magic. Jim plans, creates, writes, and assembles a plethora of routines each year all centered around a theme. This year, Birchard Public Library has asked him to create a magic show that combines all the amazing fun of Ohio AND America to celebrate America's 250th Birthday, Spirit of Ohio!
Jim uses lots of audience participation, and has been widely acclaimed for his wonderful understanding of and interaction with children. He spent many years as a Kindergarten teacher, became a Master Teacher and Education Instructor at Cleveland State University - all of which helps to make his programs a delight for all.
Program will be held in our Downstairs Meeting Room from 3-4pm. Registration is required.
