TAKE YOUR CHILD TO THE LIBRARY DAY In-Person
Visit the Birchard Public Library for TAKE YOUR CHILD TO THE LIBRARY DAY on Saturday, February 7, 2026!
We'll have some fun crafts available in the Children's Department during the day (9am-4pm) and we'll be hosting a RETRO Family Afterhours program from 6-8pm (REGISTRATION is required for the Afterhours program).
The library will close at 5pm and will re-open to registered families at 6pm. We'll have a selection of Life Size games including: Connect 4, Guess Who, Candyland, Sorry, and Pictureka set up throughout the library. And for those who are more creative, we'll have several retro themed crafts including Shrinky Dinks, Perler Beads, and Friendship Bracelets. Since our Winter Reading Challenge is ongoing, we're also bringing in the sweet theme with a station for temporary tattoos!
